WipesWraps Baby Wipes Covers

I have been dealing with ugly wipes containers for about 10 years.  Although my munchkins are 6 years apart and Munchkin 2 is FINALLY out of diapers I keep baby wipes around for wiping faces, wiping hands, and dusting.  But lets face it.  The wipes containers, no matter how hard they try are not the most attractive item to have on a shelf in your living room.

WipesWraps Baby Wipes Covers understand this and is the reason the product was invented.  WipesWraps Baby Wipes Covers are exactly what it sounds like; a cover for your container of baby wipes.  They carry many different designs to fit any room of the house from the living room to the bathroom to the nursery.

I got the Baby Chevron pattern and have it in my living room.  It blends into its surrounding and you barely notice it and if someone does notice it they don't know what it is.  Magic!

Even if you currently do not need a wipes cover.  They make great baby shower gifts!  Head over now and check out all the designs.

Educational Alphabet Flash Cards

Munchkin 2 is 3 and interested in learning.  I was thrilled when I was asked to review Educational Alphabet Flash Cards.  These flash cards do much more than just teach letters.  They teach recognition of animals and everyday objects as well as teaching matching skills and thinking skills.

I love that included in the deck was a parent card that explains the cards and the best way to use them effectively.  On the back of the Parent card there is directions for different games that you can play with the flash cards.

There is 2 flash cards for each letter of the alphabet, one for upper case and one for lower.  Each one has a picture on the back corresponding with the letter.  There were a few that that were a bit strange though.  Like the picture and words for the lower case e, i, j, and q.  The word/picture for the "e" is elf.  While she knows what an elf is, it looks a bit like a leprechaun.  The lower case "i" is ink, with a picture of a black ink pot.  I thought this one was a bit old fashioned.  The "j" is jet.  This one was hard because she kept calling it an airplane.  Lastly, there was the "q" which was quail.  She kept calling that on a bird.

The set also comes with a card that lists all the letters, lower and upper case, along with the picture on the back.

Overall these flash cards are amazing.  I would recommend them to anyone who has a child 3 or up that is eager to learn.

Shine Like a Diamond

Recently I have started wearing makeup again and like to experiment with colors and different looks.  Although I usually stick to my usual color scheme I like to have alternatives on hand to switch to for special occasions or if I just want a change.  I was offered the opportunity to try out BA STAR Stardust in Chocolate

BA STAR Stardust is a loose mineral shadow that is super versatile.  It can be used for cheer, performance, or even everyday wear.  It comes with a Glue base to help the shadow hold tight so it doesn't wear off with sweat and oil like traditional shadows do.

When the Stardust arrived I was super exited.  The powder is shimmery and gorgeous.  I immediately did a swatch on my hand to see the color on my skin and loved it!  I used an small old unused paintbrush to apply the shimmer powder because an applicator is not included and it worked great!  I did a swatch on my left hand with the glue included and a swatch on my right hand without the glue to see the difference and the difference was a lot more than I thought it would be.

The swatch with the glue was vibrant and very noticeable while the swatch without the glue was still nice and more subtle.  I think I prefer without the glue for most days but using the glue does make the color pop more and stand out.

With Glue

I also used the glue with other eyeshadows of mine and it worked great!  Another thing I experimented with is using the glue and shimmer powder to draw tattoos on Munchkin 2's arm and it worked pretty well.  So these shimmer powders would be great for a birthday party as well to give the kids tattoos that are easy to wash off but hold up to their running around and playing.

BA STAR powders are a very neat product and I would recommend them to anyone looking to glam up their look or to entertain kids.  BA STAR also carried an array of other fun items such as eyelashes, head bands, glitter stickers for body applications, tools, and more.

Make sure you check out their website.
