Babi-Kini, Adorable Swimsuits for Your Little One

It might be winter but warm weather will be with us before you know it!  Especially for me since I live in the desert.  We swim go swimming a lot in the spring and summer and even into the fall since it stays warm where we are well into October.

Since we swim so much we need swimsuits that will hold up and not start coming apart after the first month.  We found a super cute, well made swimsuit that was made in the USA for Munchkin 2 at Babi-Kini.  I can not even describe how much we love this swimsuit.  It is so adorable!

Babi-Kini has cute little bikinis for little girls but even if you are like me and prefer one pieces for your little one they have those too and in the same designs as the bikinis.  They even have sun shirts and swimsuits for little boys! 

We got Munchkin 2 the Lola one-piece.  The size we got is a bit big on her but we were afraid if we got the smaller size it wouldn't fit the whole season but with the larger size she might even be able to wear it 2 years in a row!  Awesome. It has a crisscross back that I love and one the ties are adorable little heart accent beads.

Girl Time with Ellore Femme

Munchkin 2 and I love to get girly together.  Today we decided to have some quality girl time playing with hair chalk and makeup!  What better way to bond with a little princess than a little pampering?

First we brought out the 24 piece hair chalk set from Ellore Femme.  We even let Munchkin 2 join in on the chalking fun since he was home sick today.  Munchkin 1 chose red and it turned out awesome!  BRIGHT and no mistaking that it was red!  It actually worked better than some other hair dyes we had used on his hair  before.

It was much easier to apply to Munchkin 1's hair than Munchkin 2's but I think this is because her hair is much darker and much longer.  I was able together hair chalked too though, just had to be a bit more picky with the colors that we used because some worked better than others on her hair.  

They both LOVE their hair and I am sure that we will be using the hair chalk pretty often.  It is great for everyday use or just for school events.  This would be awesome for team colors as well whether you are having a tailgating party or want to show your  support for your child's team!  We had so much fun playing with the hair chalk.

We kinda lost Munchkin 1 when the make up came out!  Okay, okay, okay....we didn't really lose him, it was more like the makeup came out and he went running down the hallway escaping to the safety of the locked door to his room before we could grab him and pin  him to the floor and make him look "SO PRETTY".  HAHA

Using my new 24 piece set of Makeup brushes from Ellore Femme I did Munchkin 2's makeup.  I have to be honest though because I have used very few makeup brushes before, usually just the generic ones that come with makeup.  I was a bit overwhelmed with all the different brushes and wasn't really sure which ones to use for what but I just made a guess. I think I got it right or at least close!  lol.  

The brushes were a lot easier to use than the ones that usually come with the makeup and much more accurate than the little foam tipped applicators that usually come with eyeshadow.  It seemed impossible to cake on the makeup with the brushes because the brushes brush off the  excess while applying so you get a smooth, non-caked look.  

Munchkin 2 loved our primping time and neither of us can wait until we do it again!

Bed of Nails

While I have always heard a great deal about acupuncture and acupressure but have never tried either.  The Bed of Nails mat is a acupressure mat that can help alleviate many different conditions; stress, headache, constipation, tiredness, insomnia, tension, muscle aches, back pain, and malaise.  It can even help with cellulite!  How awesome is that?!  

I am sure you are thinking that anything with the name "Bed of Nails" cannot be comfortable but honestly it is really relaxing.  I had a headache one day that I could not get rid of no matter what I did.  I tried taking a nap, taking medication, taking a bath....nothing worked so I pulled out my Bed of Nails and laid on it for about 30 minutes and was surprised that although my headache was still not completely gone after it was so mild that I barely noticed it anymore.  In the morning my headache was completely gone and I felt more refreshed than I had in a long time.  I did not feel tired and had little trouble getting out of bed.

I do not have concrete proof that it was the Bed of Nails mat but it was the only thing I had done that was out of my norm.  I have used the mat a few times since with similar results and wouldn't trade it for the world.  

The colors the mat come in are fantastic.  Pink (my favorite) and green. 
They even have pillows!  I think I might have to get one of those too!

The Bed of Nails mat is safe for adults and children (over 5 years of age).  I haven't allowed my Munchkins to use it yet as it is MINE!!!  haha.  Munchkin 2 is too young for now anyway.  I did however let my neighbor use it when she had a headache and a ton of stress and she reported results like I experienced.

I was pleasantly surprised with its effectiveness.  I would recommend everyone having one in their house.

Disney On Ice presents Rockin' Ever After

 

 

My Princess Ready for the Show!!!

I wasn't sure what to expect but the Disney On Ice presents Rockin' Ever After show is AMAZING!  I previously went to a Disney LIVE show which is aimed at small kids and wasn't thrilled, although Munchkin 2 loved it.  But the Disney On Ice presents Rockin' Ever After was so super neat.  I loved every minute as did Munchkin 2.  She was up and dancing around, clapping, and cheering.  

Having a Blast!!

The show consisted of many of our beloved Disney characters, both new and old.  Munchkins 2 has a new obsession with Ariel from The Little Mermaid and was so excited to see that she was in the show.  Along with her sisters and Flounder and Sebastian of course.  

Other characters in the show included Rapunzel, Merida, Belle, Gaston, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald Duck, and so many others.  

The actors/skater were so graceful and completely believable in their roles.  The tricks that they did were only to be described as sensational.

We had a wonderful time and can't wait until the next show because we will definitely be going!
