The Gift of Time Review

I drink a lot of hot green tea in the winter and love to be able to take it with me when I go outside, whether walking to the mailbox or just sitting outside while the Munchkins play, I don't take hot drinks in the car (too paranoid I will spill on myself).  Regular coffee mugs are great for indoors but not so great for outside.  If they get knocked over they tend to break, sad, I know.

So when I was given the opportunity to review the TimeMug I was beyond thrilled.  This mug is
awesome!  It served more than just the purpose of holding my tea for me.  I have to admit...I have a total time problem.  I HAVE to know what time it is all the time.  Even if I don't have to be going somewhere, I still have to know.  I have clocks in every room of my house, except my bathrooms (although I probably would if Hubby would let me).  Even in the garage.  I even have one in Munchkin 2's room who can't even tell time yet.  I don't know where it came from or why I just always have to know the time.

With that said I will tell you what this mug has to do with time, if you haven't already figured it out but the name and my confession.  It has a little time piece on the side!   There couldn't possibly be a better cup for me in the world.  It holds my tea and tells me the time.  Brilliant!

TimeMug's time piece on the side is about the size of a watch face so it is not overly large but is is easy to read.  The model I got is beautiful as well because it is encircled with rhinestones which really adds an elegant touch.  TimeMugs also come in a variety of colors!  They have a rainbow of 18 colors to choose from.  I was actually very impressed with their color selection.  TimeMug also has 6 different time pieces to choose from.  With so many choices it is easy to create a cup that says "YOU".

The TimeMug is built to last.  It has a stainless steel interior which is wonderful since many hot beverages tend to stand traditional plastic lined mugs.  TimeMug is insulated for both hot and cold drinks as well.  This means it keeps hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold!

TimeMug is the perfect size for cup holders so it is great to take on the go.  It also has a slide tab on the top that allows you  prevent spills when not drinking.  The lid has a rubber seal to prevent leaks as well.  One thing I love about TimeMug that many other mugs do not have is the non-slip, scratch-resistant base.  I have never seen this on another cup and think it is a wonderful idea.
 

I swear, TimeMug thought of everything when they created this mug.  It is stylish and sophisticated, convenient, leak-free, large capacity (16 oz), has a battery that last forever, and tells you the time!  But wait....I am not done just yet.  Ah-ha you thought I was huh?  Couldn't possibly get any better right?  Well it does!

TimeMug is dishwasher safe!  Yep, even with the time piece.  I was so excited when I found that out.  I could not believe a mug that had all these features, especially a time piece could be dish washer safe as well.  TimeMug didn't just think of everything; they thought of everything and then some! 

I am sure you are thinking about how to change the battery and the difficulty of changing it.  It is not difficult at all!  All you have to do is unscrew the cover for the time piece, then remove the time piece.  You then just change the battery as you would any other watch battery.  Super easy.
