Educational Alphabet Flash Cards

Munchkin 2 is 3 and interested in learning.  I was thrilled when I was asked to review Educational Alphabet Flash Cards.  These flash cards do much more than just teach letters.  They teach recognition of animals and everyday objects as well as teaching matching skills and thinking skills.

I love that included in the deck was a parent card that explains the cards and the best way to use them effectively.  On the back of the Parent card there is directions for different games that you can play with the flash cards.

There is 2 flash cards for each letter of the alphabet, one for upper case and one for lower.  Each one has a picture on the back corresponding with the letter.  There were a few that that were a bit strange though.  Like the picture and words for the lower case e, i, j, and q.  The word/picture for the "e" is elf.  While she knows what an elf is, it looks a bit like a leprechaun.  The lower case "i" is ink, with a picture of a black ink pot.  I thought this one was a bit old fashioned.  The "j" is jet.  This one was hard because she kept calling it an airplane.  Lastly, there was the "q" which was quail.  She kept calling that on a bird.

The set also comes with a card that lists all the letters, lower and upper case, along with the picture on the back.

Overall these flash cards are amazing.  I would recommend them to anyone who has a child 3 or up that is eager to learn.
