I was asked to review customized stickers from StickerHub.com. Great right? I thought so too. I thought it was really cool that they had so many shapes and sizes of stickers to choose from. It really was like creating my own personalized sticker form scratch. I had a blast making my sticker and picking a picture to use. When I was done I thought the sticker looked great and submitted it.
When I got the stickers in the mail, my heart fell. I was extremely disappointed in what I had been sent. The stickers were the size and shape I requested but the picture was extremely pixelated and it did not look good at all. Now this could have been the fault of the picture I chose or a printing error but either way I was disappointed with the product I had received.
You can see how pixelated the sticker was in this picture.
So I did what any unhappy customer would do I contacted StickerHub.com. I emailed the person who was supposed to be working with me for the review but they did not respond. I did this THREE times! And each time no response. By this time I was past annoyed and very irritated but their was nothing I could do if the company would not return my emails.
So here I sit writing this review as tastefully as I know how because every time I look at those stickers or think about them it brings to mind a company that sent a inferior product and then would not address my concerns. To me this just says bad business practices. One of my biggest pet peeves is bad customer service. I understand mistake happen but I also expect companies to do whatever they can to fix the mistake or at least acknowledge that I had an issue instead of ignoring me each time I contact them about the problem.
Jenn, Mom Of Two Munchkins was provided with a free sample of this product to review, and was under no obligation to review it. Nor was Jenn, Mom Of Two Munchkins under any obligation to write a positive review or sponsor a product giveaway in return for the free product.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
WOW, I thought customer service was to help the customer, not ignore them
ReplyDeleteAwww so sorry for your disappointment! I really hate being ignored too!
ReplyDeleteIt can be hard to write an unfavorable review, but I'm glad you were so honest. I wish more bloggers had the courage to put things so plainly instead of sugar-coating bad experiences.
