The Tale of the Tooth Fairy Storybook Set Review and Giveaway

Have you ever tried to snag a tooth from under a child's pillow with out waking them up?  Not as easy as it sounds trust me!!  You have to find this little thing the size of a cookie crumb from under this object the size of a small table top without moving the child head and waking them up and without being able to see because you can't turn the lights on!!  SO you are reaching blind!  It is very nerve racking and you are always terrified you will wake up the child or push the tooth off the other side of the bed while searching for it.

The makers of the Tale of The Tooth Fairy Storybook Set thought of that when writing the Tale of  a Tooth Fairy and creating their storybook set. I am in love with this set!  The book is well written and the print is large which is easy for young readers to read.  Also for grandparents and great-grandparents to read.  The story is a cute story about how the Tooth Fairy came about and what to do with a tooth when you (the child) loses one.

As parents we always tell our children to put the tooth under their pillow so the Tooth Fairy can bring them a gift or money in exchange for their tooth but when we are asked what the Tooth Fairy does with all these teeth we are stumped for an immediate answer that will not be followed by a bunch of "why" questions afterwards......or at least I was.  The book gives a simple, but believable (for kids) explanation of what the teeth are used for.  But you will have to read the book to find out...I don't want to spoil it for you.  You can read the story here.

One of my favorite things about the book is that it has a Tooth Loss Record Keeper on the very last page.  This is where you can log what tooth was lost and on what date.  Don't what the tooth is called?  That is okay they even have a chart of the teeth so you know what to call it.

The Tale of the Tooth Fairy was written by Brian Ledig.  The book also includes beautiful, crystal clear illustrations by MK Fleming.

The Tooth Fairy Doll comes with a little pouch that is the perfect size for the lost tooth.  Your child will simply put the tooth in the pouch then place it next to the bed or on their dresser; they could even leave it on a shelf in the living room if you wanted!  With this doll the Tooth Fairy will never have to worry about losing the tooth or waking up the child again!  What magic.

The set comes in a cute little storybook case that ties on the side.  The case holds the book and Tooth Fairy doll which you can view through the clear front.  The sets can be customized for a boy or a girl.  If it is for a girl they will include a girl fairy and for a boy, a boy fairy.  This Storybook set would make a great gift too!!
