Snack Time is Fun

 
My family loves fruit, including dried fruit.  It is one of our favorite snacks.  Munchkin 2 will even ask for an apple or banana over chips or fruit snacks for snack.  So you can imagine that I was thrilled when we were asked to
put Funny Face Dried Cranberries to the test.  Funny Face cranberries make snack time more fun and delicious for kids (and adults) with fun flavors such as cherry, raspberry, grape, and strawberry.  They even have awesome names for the flavors; cherry is Choo Choo Cherry.  Super cute, I know.  Recently Decas started packaging them in 1oz snack size packs as well which are great for snacks on the go or to toss into a lunch box!

Not only do they taste great and make a great on-the-go snack; they are good for you too (just don't tell your kids).  They are low in sugar, as much as half the sugar of regular sweetened, high in fiber, 5x what is found in other brands, AND they have 1/3 the number of calories found in other dried cranberries.
 

I have never seen or heard of cranberries flavored like another fruit before.  But the Munchkins and I were anxious to try them.  They were delicious and we had a blast being silly and making funny faces as we ate our snack.  

If you are not into flavored cranberries though, that is okay.  Funny Face cranberries are not the only varieties that are produced by Decas.  They also make several varieties of regular dried cranberries.  They produce LeanCrans dried Cranberries, OmegaCrans dried cranberries, Organic Premium dried Cranberries, and Premium dried cranberries.  We had the chance to try the LeanCrans and the Premium dried cranberries.  Both were absolutely delicious!  In fact, I like them so much I took the bag of LeanCrans to my Mother-in-law's and had  my father-in-law put them in the salad he was making that day to go with lunch.  They were a hit!  Even my MIL loved them and she is not big on dried cranberries.  We have gotten the opinions about the Funny Face cranberries as well from some of Munchkin 1's friends when they have joined us for snack time.  Every loves all these varieties of cranberries.  I haven't had a single complaint from kid or adult!  Now that is impressive.  That is when you know you have stumbled upon a product that is gold.

The Funny Face site is very cute and has recipes, activities and videos for the kids.  They have games your can print too.  The video above is from the site and I think it is adorable.
