The Perfect Clock for Your Little One

The Tot Clock is unlike any clock I have ever seen before.  It was designed especially for little ones who cannot tell time yet.  It has so many features I am not even sure where to begin.  I guess the first thing to tell you is that the clock face is lighted and changes colors to teach your little Munchkin when it is time to sleep and when it is time to be awake.  It also changes colors for timeout and encouragement time.  The five different colors are red (timeout), blue (bedtime), yellow (awake), light blue (nap time), and green (encouragement).  I love that nap time and bedtime have different colors of blue.

The gentle light put off by the lighted clock also doubles as a nightlight!  Although you set the times for sleep and wake, you can override these times but holding the color coded button on the top down for a few seconds.  This is great because we all know that sometimes schedules change a bit.  Rather than setting exact times for timeout, nap time, and encouragement, you simply set a amount of time because you cannot schedule when they will need a timeout.  So when it is time for timeout all you have to do is press a button and it will change the color of light from red to yellow once their amount of time for timeout is over.  No more does your little one constantly have to wonder and ask you a million times, "Can I come out now?"  Because I am sure we have all heard this phrase at least once.

One feature I didn't even realize it had until I took it out of the box and was playing with it was it plays bedtime stories, lullabies, and fun songs.  It even plays white noise to help your little one drift off to sleep.  I love this because even though Munchkin 2 doesn't use a white noise machine any longer that when it is passed down to our next child I don't have to buy a new white noise machine. 

The Tot Clock uses cartridges for the music, stories, and white noise and although it comes with "Welcome to Children's Dreamland" you can purchase 6 different Tot Clock Treasure cartridges.  This means your child will never get tired of the same song  or story night after night.  

The Tot clock can be used solely on batteries or can be plugged into the wall with an AC adaptor that is included.  This makes it great to take with you on the go whether it is just a trip to a friends house or across the country.
